Timbuktu is a modern French glimpse into an ancient West African perfume ritual. Inspired by his journey to Mali, master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour returned to L'Artisan enchanted by the art of mystical perfumery called Wusulan, still passed down from mother to daughter as a magical spell to seduce and secure true love. The Aroma Green like the peel of an unripe mango, pink peppercorns and cardamom are the first that Timbuktu offers, quickly followed by a clean, purifying white smoke. The more Timbuktu progresses, the more the earthy, green notes of vetiver combine with clean incense and Karo flower, lingering beautifully on the skin as a fresh, unique interpretation of nature and a fragrant, erotic ritual. This obviously has advantages for the customer, who finds more easily what yesterday was almost impossible to find on the various provincial markets, but if not managed and moderated correctly, it goes completely against the principle of "scarcity" that pervades everything that is rare and different. And if the distributors and producers don't put a brake on it, then We will put it on, by proceeding with the removal of all those Brands that more or less suddenly, and not in a coordinated and even explained way, transform their Brands and products from something different to the "commercial rule".
