The Artisan Perfumer
was born in Paris in 1976 thanks to the Nose Jean La Porte, considered one of the first perfumers to create artisanal fragrances inspired by nature; the incipit came from a friend who asked La Porte to create a perfume that smelled of banana, and the challenge, successful, opened La Porte the inspiration to create and experiment perfumes only with "natural essences", playing with the olfactory themes of nature and with the desire to concentrate in his perfumes the values and traditions of the art of perfumery. After the great success of his first line of perfumes, La Porte was named "Artisan of Perfume", a title that became the name of the Maison.
