Vanilla Tanà is vanilla according to Gritti : warm, exotic, richly gourmand , and sophisticated. Perfumer Luca Gritti travels to Madagascar to explore the birth of a legend and rediscover ancient techniques: the prized pods ripened inside the hollow trunks of baobab trees are enriched with woody notes and a primordial energy that gives character and depth to the composition.
The opening is a spicy-floral sparkle of pink pepper , luminous and caressing. At the heart, vanilla orchid envelops a slightly animalic ylang-ylang , working the material like a silky fabric. The base is an opulent and enveloping signature: Madagascar vanilla absolute and vanilla caviar blend with tonka bean , baobab wood , sandalwood , warm amber , and velvety white musk .
