Description of the Perfume
Patchoulissime by Keiko Mecheri is a surprisingly complex and delicate reinterpretation of patchouli, an ingredient often associated with earthy and intense perfumes. This fragrance transforms patchouli into a sweet, earthy and pure essence, rare among perfumes that use this iconic ingredient.
The composition opens with bright notes of patchouli leaves, intertwined with the elegance of rose, the delicacy of jasmine and the freshness of Calabrian bergamot. This combination creates an opening that is both vibrant and sophisticated, introducing patchouli in a new and unexpected light.
Continuing the composition, heart notes of ambergris, benzoin and sandalwood emerge, adding warmth and depth. Ambergris, with its mysterious and enveloping nature, blends with benzoin to create a rich and resinous heart, while sandalwood brings a touch of woody softness that balances the composition.
