I was curious to try it; it's been a hot topic for a while. It was exactly what I expected (except for the longevity, which is nonexistent on my skin). It starts out like a green tuberose, then warms up without ever becoming indolic.
The point is, it doesn't excite me.
What's more subjective than a perfume?
I'm happy that Alla Violetta offers the opportunity to get to know the fragrances through samples, an experience that gives you the time you need to try and try again, much different from just spritzing and going.

Carnal Flower is a composition that immediately strikes with its bold and luminous opening. The top notes—dominated by green tuberose, a hint of eucalyptus, and a touch of ozonic—are extraordinarily lively and fresh, almost carnal in their momentum.
It's an original, sensual and alienating beginning, which conquers and intrigues.
The heart develops elegantly: jasmine and orange blossom blend with tuberose in a creamy yet not suffocating way. The balance between floral intensity and vegetal purity is remarkable.
This is where the perfume best expresses its identity: modern, but with a classic depth.
The base, however, gives way a little to what has already been smelled: moss, light woods, coconut, a balsamic echo.
It is not disappointing, but it recalls olfactory solutions already smelled, almost as if it wanted to confidently close a composition that had instead promised to go further.
In summary:
A fascinating perfume for those who love green and lively tuberoses,
with a noteworthy openness and heart,
but a less surprising ending than the beginning would have led one to hope.

Carnal Flower smells of jasmine still swollen with rain and electricity, slightly bruised after a summer storm. Delicious, not in the sense of "smelling good," which even a €5 vanilla perfume or a good fabric softener can do, but in its profoundly evocative nature. As for the website, shipping is super fast and they're incredibly generous with samples!
