Diptyque built its name by focusing on olfactory passion with the candle collection and later with its eau de toilette. Fragrances that tell the world its cultures and its colors. From the same Asian vein as Tam Dao here is the Diptyque version of Vetiver interpreted by the perfume creator Olivier Pescheux a creation that completely departs from the traditional canons of the art of perfumery. It is in Java that grows a plant with long sharp leaves and dusty intertwined roots, Vetiver. A drop of its essence contains the authentic soul of Asia and tells the story of a plant that is not only used in perfumery. At the same time humid and dry fresh and warm the scent of Vetiver is an authentic treasure. Do not expect classic and obvious imprints Vetyverio is neither masculine nor feminine. The flowers play an unusual role, each one giving a touch of cheerfulness and vivacity, a particular characteristic in stark contrast to the virility that one would expect from a vetiver perfume. At the top we have a fruity freshness rather than citrus that explodes with enthusiasm with a delicious and radiant delight. The heart of the fragrance is made up of two exceptional qualities of vetiver: the rough and earthy Java Vetiver from Indonesia and the more subtle and delicate Haitian Vetiver from the Caribbean. The Haitian Vetiver complements the Java Vetiver, softens it and gives it a totally new and extraordinary character in perfect harmony with the musky notes. In the base, a hint of spice announces the last surprise: the majestic dry and resinous cedar wood structures the whole and the soft musky note leaves a veil of pure sensuality on the skin. A subtle and exciting fragrance that contains the strength of an undisputed elegance.
