These sophisticated perfume bouquets are based on ancient recipes and traditions of Grasse, but they were also inspired by a wonderful natural event. In February 1947, a majestic meteorite shower fell to earth in Eastern Siberia (Russia), beyond the foothills of the Sikhote-Alin mountains. Each fragrance in the Shooting Stars collection was chosen to reflect the special nature of that event; a real meteorite fragment was placed in each box together with the perfume bottle. The box is made of wood and the bottle cap is gold-plated.
