The Story of Versatile: From the Idea to the Olfactory Revolution
Since our launch in October 2021 , Versatile has become synonymous with innovation, originality and passion for the world of perfumery. Our adventure began with an intense 10-month conception phase, during which we carefully defined our concept, selected suppliers and created distinctive packaging to present our unique vision of fragrance to the world.
The Origins
Our first original collection was inspired by meaningful moments in life, transforming memories and emotions into five extraordinary alcohol-free Extraits de Parfum . This collection marked the beginning of our journey, laying the foundation for what Versatile would become.
One Year Later: October 2022
In our first year, we expanded our offering to include six alcohol-free perfume extracts and launched three limited-edition scented candles . We proudly reached 100 retailers in 12 countries , participated in five trade shows and pop-ups, and watched our team grow. We secured our first funding to industrialize production and opened our first offices in Paris, earning rave reviews in prestigious magazines such as Vogue , Elle , Marie Claire , and more.
June 2023: An Association Destined
Our story took a significant turn when Pierre, after a lucky encounter on Tinder over five years ago, decided to officially join the Versatile adventure. With his experience in IT, digital and a keen strategic mind, Pierre has become a fundamental pillar in our growth and innovation.
October 2023: Two Years Later
Our second review demonstrated exponential growth: eight alcohol-free perfume extracts , the publication of a perfume book , over 30,000 fragrances sold , and a presence in 200 retailers across 30 countries . Our team continued to expand, attending numerous events and receiving attention from international publications such as Forbes and Harper's Bazaar .
